Caramel wood liqueur. In the Armorican countryside the Korrigans frolic at night. They come to harvest juniper berries and wild beechnuts. Then, in dark caves, they distil barley into spellbinding spirits, spicing them with saffron, musking them with ambrette, scenting them with lavender. During the solstice festivals, they all drink their elixirs out of leather pouches, causing bodies and souls to capsize.
Top notes: saffron, cognac and juniperberry
Heart notes: lavender, ambrette seeds and a whisky note
Base notes: cedarwood, leather, oud, vetiver and musks

,,,I have found my first review of Naxos by Xerjoff to have been helpful to certain people, and hence I continue here, with my latest foray into things that make me smell better than usual.
My usual choice of aromatic disguise was highly predisposed to Mr TF's range of gourmands and florals; but, thanks to some unexpected developments, I placed myself into the hands of the competent, professional and oh-so -ambrosial staff at Libertine; the knowledgeable Lilly is part of the shopping experience here that should be mentioned...
Let me speak to you about Korrigan, and transcribe the redolent heaven that permeates the air around your pulse points with something of an unusual, but, more properly a 'unique' concoction of dry, slightly sweet and leathery woods, that has had heads turning, questions asked, and on at least one occasion, hair twirled around fingers in a coy display of, "Oh Mister, you sure smell good"...
Korrigan is refined; it's not the usual "punch in the nostrils" of say, TF's Tuscan Leather, but, the base note of Leather is quite powerful, and sits just below that of the saffron and cognac as the top notes, at least for me. It's devoid of the sassy sweetness of the raspberry in TF's Tuscan Leather.
Previously, I've been told that TF's Tuscan Leather has a top note, wandering around in it of crystallised "cocaine" - and if that's the case, then Korrigan is the Bentley leather interior, with cognac dripped on it, off the taught thighs of a blonde dinner…

Nice
Just a little mild for me I like intense, sultry fragrances but I do like the brand, beautifully packaged and unique , but none the less still a good choice.
