Autumn Perfumes

I own a range of fragrances from different houses but I love Layton in particular and this is one fragrance that you must buy. For me this is a confident daily wear that smells fresh and invigorating. I was pleasantly surprised when I wore it for the first time and it was an instant hit. This could easily be a one and only.

Amazing perfume. The scent is immaculate. Highly recommend anyone wanting to buy. The projection is not as strong as I thought it would be, but still worth trying out.

I was puzzled why does it smell different than the one I smelled in Myer. After doing some research, the formulation has been changed from 78% to 82%. It’s still a nice fragrance but I was not expecting what I got. For a minute I thought I was sent the wrong perfume and had to recheck.

I bought this for my son for Xmas - it was sent in such a beautiful box with a selection of samples in a lovely pouch. Very classy and postage was so quick.

I think the reviews below speak for themselves. As all parfums react differently to one's own body chemistry, this may differ to others' skin types. From my experience, Layton's sillage surprises you with an initial burst of pink pepper and citrus. Amber and woody tones soon follow. With a final mix of coffee and caramel undertones. Its projection is generally received as being similar to its sillage. If you're new PDM, this should definitely be your first purchase.

Vanilla Powder by Matière Première is everything I want vanilla to be and none of the things I can’t stand. This is not a cupcake or sugary dessert. This is vanilla draped in ambered warmth, soft and intimate like the scent of skin that’s been resting in sunshine and silk. It’s velvety, woody, gently musky—a golden hour blanket you wear on your body.

I usually struggle with powdery notes, but this isn’t baby-powder or makeup-bag floral. This is clean, grounded, and almost resinous. Like Le Labo’s Labdanum 18 and Heretic Parfum's Dirty Vanilla had a quiet, glowy child and she reads poetry at dusk with incense.

I’ve layered it with Heretic's Dirty Amber, TFs Oud Wood, Serge Lutens La Fille de Berlin—and it never overpowers. It just makes everything feel deeper, quieter, warmer. It’s perfect alone too, especially on overcast days or when I want to feel like I’m in a protective cocoon.

Their shipping is fast, their packaging is thoughtful and luxe, and they always spoil you with samples—which I deeply appreciate as someone with a very specific nose. I keep coming back not just for the perfume, but for the care behind it.

This one’s become an instant staple. If you love amber, skin musk, and vanillas that feel more intimate than edible, you’ll fall hard for this.

Stunning perfume. Every time I wear this, I receive compliments. It's not at all a subtle scent, it's a beast mode perfume. Would definitely recommend trying before buying, as it wouldn't be for everyone.

I received this as a sample in my last order and my word, Amouage has my attention. Dominating my wish list right now, and very likely to continue on that trend.

This fragrance is sweet and dreamy, peach juice and boiling sugar with a cuddly background of white florals and vanilla. This is the perfume I have been searching for! Also I was very impressed with Libertine’s packaging and samples, my order arrived very quickly and I will be shopping with you again :)

Where to start with this lovely concoction?! I recently discovered this one during the Nishane masterclass and I have to say I am so so happy I did the class and found this treasure. This is a sweet feminine throwback to perfumes of the 80’s in the absolute best way possible. The white flowers in here are divine and did I already say this is sweet? I’ve had so many people ask me what I’m wearing, seems to put a smile on everyone’s faces. It makes me and everyone else happy.

I didn’t find it incredibly strong. Definitely a perfume for the skin, not as much for clothing. It mixes with the skin so softly, almost as if a part of your natural musk!

This perfume leads with a coffee/ chocolate scent, but dries down to let the rose shine through. Gets lots of compliments.
