Special Occasion Perfumes

Had high hopes for this fragrance! But was bitterly let down by the performance. Strong and loud projection of citrus/bergamot/green notes and ginger in the first hour and then it drys down to an almost skin scent soft lemon vanilla. The sweetness makes this a soft gourmand. Often reported as a cold weather fragrance I am wearing this on a cold (melbourne) day and don't get too much of a cozy feeling. The fresh citrus and ginger note makes me think this is an all year fragrance (perhaps better for the evening in hot summers due to the sweetness). For the price I wish it had better longevity - almost undetectable after 6 hours.

I discovered this during the recent masterclass and I’m sooooo glad I ended up purchasing the full bottle. It is a beautiful spicy vanilla with some green nuances. The quality is absolutely outstanding and the fragrance lasts for hours, days on clothes. I have lots of vanillas in my collection but this is by far my favourite.

How exciting that Libertine has added Nishane to its offerings. This is my first Nishane experience and it is magnificent. I don't think I can think of anything better than a soft amber scent with a bit of green freshness. In fact, quite often I find myself layering my green scents with a vanilla or amber scent. This is a beautifully complex scent with many notes. It is pleasingly long-lasting with fantastic sillage. Highly recommended and blind buy safe also.

I’d heard reviews (especially Aaron Terrance Hughes), absolutely raving about the diligent craftsmanship and formulation - ABSOLUTELY not overstretching the assessment. This is frankly superb, and a purchase I’m delighted to have made.

The smell of this perfume takes you to another world I was worried about it because I did not know how it would be as I did not get the chance to smell it before I made the purchase it is just incredible once I sprayed the sample and opened the bottle I do recommend it

l bought blind buy for my wife. This is such a beautiful perfume! So soft and creamy but with a real kick of citrus!

I bought Lira because Akro Bake was out of stock. This is also the lemony, creamy kind of scent. I do wish it lasted longer.

This is a beautifully crafted, smooth, citrus vanilla/caramel scent with a hint of spice and liquorice.

Great for every day wear when you want to smell edible but need something more than ‘just vanilla’. I personally can’t get enough of it. It’s not linear but it’s not overly complicated… it’s smooth, creamy deliciousness.

Longevity and sillage isn’t the best unfortunately and I have to overspray for it to really stick around. But it’s just so good that I’m not bothered about its average performance. You might be though!

First time buying off Libertine and the whole experience was wonderful. Loved the packaging, free samples and all the extra touches.

Absolu aventus is that one step surther for aventus going a bit more citrus and it’s also an even better smell yet again which makes it truely very unique! Worth the money any day!

The opening is amazing hence the one star. But after an hour or two the scent disappears. And this isn't just me saying this.

Look at all the influencers and their comments. Just stick to the OG.

I have the Original and the Cologne. The Original is good for cooler environments and the Cologne is great for hotter times. This one is formal and evening at any season. I love it and so does my better half 😊

I love everything about this fragrance. From the top notes all the way as it evolves. It’s quite strong so you only have to spray a little. Not overpowering , just a beautiful scent and silage. One for a date night or a special occasion.

What a bottle!

Very nice, almost like a lemon meringue pie once it settles. Didn't really blow my head off in terms of longevity or projection on my skin type. Still a good purchase.

Quite interesting scent. Not for everybody. But you will fall in love. May be not for summer season. Although, depends on the mood. Love the scent. Personally, all Creed perfumes don’t last on me for too long. Overpriced, yes. Worth buying it, yes, for so many other reasons.

Perfect perfume for me.... long lasting fragrance. Not overpowering. Not overly floral. Has become my go to perfume.

My husband bought me this for Christmas and it is the most complimented perfume I’ve ever worn.

The 5 stars is also for Libertine itself. I’ve never had such a positive customer experience like this. I’m not sure if there was a promotion on as my husband arranged the purchase but the amount of samples in there was more than generous. They also included a sample of Guidance, so you can test it out before you open the packaging in case it’s not right. Great service!

I’m only buying my perfume from this very special retailer.

I purchased this for both myself and hubby. A very warm and intoxicating blend that can be worn day to night and almost every season. This is a very versatile and easy reach but still unique! Such a great fragrance slightly spicy and warm with a touch of fruits in the opening but the white suede, sandalwood, vanilla and musks in the base balance out the blend to be creamy and very comforting. Decent longevity too approx 5 hrs maybe- wish it was a little longer but still love this and recommend.

I received this as a 10ml sample and as soon as I sprayed it, my muma walked past and asked me if she could try it on her skin. Little did I know she had the intention of keeping it haha. It is such a beautiful and happy scent. Considering we’re in spring at the moment it’s perfect. Maybe if muma is lucky she’ll get a full bottle. The first wiff of the fragrance smells like a cream like dessert and settles down beautifully with its fruity notes. It is an absolute delight.

I love this fragrance, it lasts all day and gets lots of positive comments. I only need a little because its quite powerful. Definitely very floral, but not sickly.

Whilst categorised as woody amber, I found this scent very floral, in line with its description. As I do not tolerate floral scents, I cannot begin to describe its characteristics, however as per Amouage standard it was very long lasting and signature scent material.
