Exceptional fragrance, from the Roja Dove effect. It is gorgeous, but I do not think for most people it justifies the price. There are many excellent labdanum-centric fragrances for a third of the price or less. So if you can pay $1899 for a fragrance without really thinking about it, this is absolutely worth the price, without question. It smells so good and complex and it lasts and lasts.

This scent is perfect for nights out. It has a great depth and longevity to it. I usually wouldn't opt for scents with patchouli but this one is nicely balanced and i love the fruity note of red apple.

If you have a chance, try it, the only one in my collection from the entire Maps of the heart collection.

Nice pleasant and comforting woody niche scent. Unisex and good quality. However does not last long and stays close to the skin

A true gem for lovers of sandalwood or spicy, woody, resinous fragrances. If you love other iconic fragrances like Memo African Leather or BDK Gris Charnel Extract - then you must sample this fragrance!

The sandalwood note is so divine! It has fruity nuances; a sweetness to my nose like fig fruit, which truly compliments the woody and resinous notes and that smooth leather backbone.

Island Lush is unisex leaning masculine (in the opening) but anyone can wear this! I wore it for 7 hours today and it was still projecting when I got home after a day in the heat. I would wear this to any dressy occasion, date night, anytime you want to impress.

I liked the perfume very much as it reminded me of walks along a beach (coconut and rum). I found it long lasting and tend to wear afternoons and nights, I would say you could wear it in the morning although rummy.

Whilst this is categorised solely as Green, I find it very floral. Sadly I am still working on my ability to write a useful review of my least favourite scent group. All I can smell is flowers :( I do find all of Hermetica’s fragrances have an oiliness to them (like most of Lumira). Jade888 is a strong floral (or “green”) scent as opposed to a light and delicate scent. I have marked it as moderately complex as there are definitely layers to it, just that I can’t detect what they are. If you like intense green floral, this is the way to go!

This was a blind buy that I purchased based off positive reviews. It's a sweet, powdery leather but I don't get much oud. Apparently it also contains raspberry, which I love combined with leather, but I don't get much of that either. Like other Hermetica fragrances, it isn't overly strong but it lasts +++. Based on how much I like this and Rosefire, I'm keen to try Darkoud.

One of my favourite Hermetica scents, this is a perfectly balanced blend of Middle Eastern notes. Intense as all Hermetica scents seem to be. The raspberry adds a tart freshness to the scent. I find this particular scent lingers a lot longer than other Hermetica perfumes I’ve tried.

Beautiful, subtle yet mysterious.

The tangerine and juniper opening is just divine. Fresh and slightly bitter. Then the spice of the ginger and pepper, and that tea note! This is a beautiful variation of a citrus fragrance. Highly recommend. Unisex, maybe slight masculine lean. Working my way through the Bastille discovery set and have loved each and every one.

It is definitely a very refined, elegant scent but much too masculine leaning for me, hence the missing star. The performance is outstanding. I sprayed it on my wrists and realized it was too much for me, tried to wash it off, then again and could still get a whiff the next day. On a man it would be amazing but not if I was sitting on a plane next to him...
