I bought a Xerjoff sampler for my husband and we were both blown away by this fragrance. It's hard to describe because there's a bit going on here. It has an initial burst of elegant citrus and then dries down to layers of fresh spicy, green, woody, subtle floral (not sweet) and aromatic notes. It definitely leans towards masculine, but I love wearing it too. I'm hooked. When you know you know.

That apple note is divine! Naturally it doesn’t last long, being a top note, but then it becomes a beautiful fresh and woody fragrance with the amazing quality that is Xerjoff. A little similar to the delicious Naxos, but without the beautiful honey and tobacco notes.

Oud Ulya is a masterpiece of fragrance! This cologne exudes elegance and sophistication from the moment it touches your skin. Smoky, rich, and just a hint of sweetness to take the edge off - I'm of the belief no-one does heavier, winter scents better than Amouage. Monsterous sillage, but slightly reduced projection (I assume due to the lack of alcohol) which makes it a real personal, enjoyable experience. If you are already a fan of the house, an absolute must-try.

I ordered a Roja sampler and the first sample vial that I tried was Elysium. Right there and then I knew that I found that elusive scent I was looking for for a very long time. Elysium is an exquisite and sophisticated manly perfume because of its woody and leathery scent hinted subtly by fragrant flowers. It's not cheap, but if you're looking for a well-balanced fragrance that exudes class and sophistication, a perfume you can confidently and proudly wear on any occasion, this is the one to invest on. Guaranteed not to disappoint.

The best fragrance I have ever had the pleasure to sample.

This is extremely expensive, and extremely difficult to dislike despite needing a second mortgage to purchase. A clean, fresh, masculine scent that is impossible to upset anyone with. I prefer this over the cologne as it gets into the sensational dry-down a bit quicker, and the performance is faultless. There aren't many fresh scents I enjoy but the hype around Elysium is real.

I guess at this price point I should be relieved that this (sample) didn’t float my boat. Too floral for me. It certainly does exude class and would make an amazing signature scent. I didn’t find it particularly long lasting.

5 star worthy. Only criticism is the exorbitant price. Wonderful fragrance at present. Don't reformulated please.

The product is excellent, which is to be expected from Clive Christian.

What I had a massive problem with was the customer service or lack thereof. Apparently the “shipped” email just means they printed the sticker and it wasn’t actually shipped, this took 3 emails and a phone call from me to find out. After subsequent emails and raising my concerns with them as to the location of my order (3 weeks after purchasing express shipping) I received a passive email and it magically was posted the day I raised my concern.

Such a shame it was a horrible experience because the product isn’t cheap and I’ll go where I know I’m valued next time.

From the first spray I absolutely adored this perfume. The blossom notes come through very well and don't get lost in the dry down. It's complexity and unique ingredients create a truly distinctive fragrance, all the while maintaining an incredibly luxurious feel. This one is all class... yes it's expensive, but when you wear it, you'll see why.

This is fascinating! It’s light, soft and sweet. This particular sweetness gives it a slight feminine lean, but I’d say a lot of chocolate loving people would love to smell it on their man! If you’re expecting a beast fragrance at this price point, you won’t get that here, but you’ll get quality and uniqueness.

It's a lighter experience than I expected. Mild milk chocolate and orange juice with light sprinkles of musk/floral? or perhaps it's orange blossom thought it's not listed as a note. I don't notice the oud or perhaps it's just very light oud at the base. Not at all a heavy gourmand and am unsure it's worth the price tag and the hype it has all around it. But it's a scent you can enjoy in summer and hopefully the heat will intensify the experience more. It's also not a scent combination I have smelt before so I think that justify the heavy price tag a little.

If you’ve ever walked past someone and thought “oh wow that smells expensive” this is that fragrance. It is elegant and Rich just as it’s title suggests.
