Stunning! But pricey …
An interesting almost gourmand take on Oud with sugar and spices like fresh baked sweet pastries coming out of the oven. It mists beautifully from the opulent bottle with fine broad emissions from the atomiser, longevity and projection are perfect for being noticed but, quietly. Absurdly expensive, for the frag head with cash to burn!

BEAST of a perfume!
It is definitely a very refined, elegant scent but much too masculine leaning for me, hence the missing star. The performance is outstanding. I sprayed it on my wrists and realized it was too much for me, tried to wash it off, then again and could still get a whiff the next day. On a man it would be amazing but not if I was sitting on a plane next to him...

AMBER AOUD opens on the skin with typical Roja flair. From the first moment salty, musky ambergris explodes onto the skin lifted by a beautiful blend of citrus. This citrus freshness last but seconds, giving way to that signature Roja trio of Rose de Mai, Jasmin de Grasse and Ylang-Ylang. These sumptuous florals at the heart of the fragrance are sweetened by a rich jammy fig and the warmth of cinnamon. As the fragrance evolves it grows richer on the skin as orris lends a powdery nuance, while the combination of saffron and oakmoss add a deep earthy intensity.
