Lovely
This little bottle has a different interpretation on santal compared with other commercial scents. Its refreshing and unique. I think it's perfect for any seasons. Its a great buy.

beautiful sandalwood
I am really liking this fragrance- but something is topping me from loving it. I only received it last week (Dec, 2023. I adore sandalwood, and this fragrance has it ++ as well as tonka bean (which I love). It is a sweet fragrance, especially after the dry down... One paper, this looks like my perfect fragrance... However, I am noticing that there is a moderate sour/balsamic scent to it. It is strange because sometimes it dissipates and other times I can strongly smell it. I am not the biggest fan of balsamic scents. I initially thought it was a "zesty" scent but when I looked up the fragrance notes, apparently benzoin can sometimes cause this "spicy" scent- I think that is what I must be smelling?... I have noticed that not many people have mentioned this in reviews across multiple sites, so it must be how it interacts with my skin PH, maybe?... It is by no means bad, but something about it i find confronting? I do love it an I need to give it more wear time. have only used it three times. Interested to see how I find it as the summer progresses.. I love the other fragrance from this house that I own (French Flower- it is truly stunning). I plan on buying Encens Suave next autumn and cannot wait.
